Target Lists
The Target List for the different ambient air methods used by EAS are listed below. The EPA TO Methods do not always specify a specific target list, and many laboratories have expanded some of the target lists for the methods. For this reason it is important to review the Target Lists to make sure they match the compounds in your project. If your project has target compounds that are not on these lists, contact Customer Service so we can provide a quotation for your list (EAS can match any other labs target list). We have no problem shortening or expanding our Target Lists to meet our clients needs. The tables also specify the detection limits that can be achieved for clean, ambient air samples. NOTE: The topic of Detection Limits can be confusing for air samples, please visit our page on Detection Limits to make sure you understand how how your results will be reported by EAS. The detection limits reported in the tables are based on a load volume of 1000 ml and actual detection limits will be higher based on canister dilution factor and sample matrix effects.
